It's an all-terrain model with a soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It can accommodate a massive 30 seating configurations, and includes a built-in ride-on for older kids who prefer walking, plus a 'cinema seating' mode that raises the back seat to allow for better visibility.
Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a great single buggy from day 1 that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3!) Multiple configurations are possible. This is particularly useful for parents who have children in a car. The frame can be fitted to a wedgie, which allows for the best lie-flat position. Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride because babies can feel every bump on the road. This is particularly the case if you're driving on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models also have locking front wheels to help in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.
Some models have tyres with air filled that are great for all-terrain riding, however they can be prone punctures. Make sure you have a spare set of tyres in your trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres, specifically designed to handle bumps and are less prone to punctures, however, you might find them to be a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back if you decide to run.
